The park occupies the former
18th century enclosure, barred by 2 entrance porches.
It has been drawn in 1910 by Achille Duchêne,
famous landscape designer, notably author of Vaux-le
Vicomte park.
It is conceived around three lawns and bordered
by horse-riding alleys, themselves framed by vaulted
hedges. Stretching out over 1,5 mile, the
hedges appear among the longest ones in France.
With the wire of the walk, one enjoys dreaming
near splendid
statues. |
